As a result of the overwhelming response received from the teachers and students that participated in the 2008 program, Caboolture Bus Lines will be running the Be Smart, Be Cool, Travel Safe Program again in 2009.

The 90-minute program which will be held at the Caboolture Bus Lines depot, has been designed to educate year 4 school students on the workings of a bus depot, with a strong emphasis on issues relating to safe bus and road travel.

The program, which is a community initiative of Caboolture Bus Lines, will be held over four consecutive days from Monday 31 August to Thursday 3rd September and will be conducted at no cost to the students or schools who participate.

We would like to invite teachers, students, bus operators and other interested community members to attend this interactive program. The program equips students with the knowledge and skills that they need to be safe bus travellers and provides teachers, bus operators and community members with an insight into the importance of raising awareness about bus and road safety.

If you would like to attend the program or if you require further information please don’t hesitate to contact Janette on 07 5495 4744.
