Mr Russell Black Training & Development
Russell has an extensive background in Public Transport operations and planning functions across the eastern seaboard of Australia. Russell has demonstrated experience in developing and preparing training material and currently holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Russell’s relevant experience, include:
Assistance in the development of a transportation plan for the Games family members (Athletes, VIP’s, Corporate guests, staff) during the 2001 Goodwill Games.
Responsible for drafting the 2001 Goodwill Games Transportation Request for Tender (RFT) and the subsequent evaluation of the Transport operator tender submissions.
Involvement in the transport co-ordination for the 2003 Rotary International convention and the development and implementation of a training program for the bus operators and support staff working on the event. This training package included a video presentation to facilitate the program.
Conducted reviews on the Brisbane City Council bus maintenance facilities in order to improve their effectiveness and efficiencies.
